Alexis Lafrenière was hyped as a superstar ahead of the 2020 NHL Draft. He was the clear-cut number one pick and was supposed to be an instant impact player for the Rangers. That was in October 2020. Fast forward just over a year later and 76 games into his NHL career, Lafrenière has not been the player we all expected.
