Played his best when physically engaged. There were some stretches where he was a key part of the forecheck and others where he went unnoticed for over a period at a time. There were a couple instances in the tournament where he used his strong puckhandling to create offense, but other than this, his offense creation was limited. Average hockey sense and skating ability. Lengthy, but not strong. Could become a good player if he consistently adds that element of energy + work ethic to his game– I just don’t see him being an offensive force with the current tools and play style he has. I think he will be drafted a decent amount lower than some other Canadian forwards.
